Nursultan Keneshbekov won two medals at the Asian Championship

At the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships held in Tianjin from February 6 to 8, Nursultan Keneshbekov from Kyrgyzstan won two medals.

Five athletes represented the Kyrgyzstan team, led by Satybek Chokayev, and they successfully earned awards.

All medals were won by one athlete — Nursultan Keneshbekov.

On February 6, Nursultan participated in the preliminary heats of the 1500 meters, where he won his heat with a time of 3 minutes 50 seconds.

This result was the best among all qualifying heats, allowing Keneshbekov to advance to the final with the best time.

On the next day, February 7, Nursultan took to the start line for the final of the 3000 meters, where he won a silver medal, finishing second with a time of 7 minutes 55.06 seconds.

The final of the 1500 meters took place on February 8, and once again Nursultan Keneshbekov secured second place, adding another silver medal to his collection. His time was 3 minutes 44.75 seconds, which was one second longer than the winner from Qatar.
