Nursultan Keneshbekov won the silver medal in the 3000 meters race, clocking a time of 7 minutes 55.06 seconds and earning recognition in the final.
His compatriot Jusup Sulayman uulu finished fifth in the same race.
On the first day of the competition, Kyrgyz athletes achieved the following results:
- Iskender Chokaev took 10th place in the 800 meters;
- Ruslan Litovsky showed the 14th result in the 400 meters.
The championship continues, and Kyrgyz athletes are participating in various disciplines.
