The athletics cross-country competition took place on November 1 at the Komsomol Lake in Karagachev Grove. This event was organized with the support of the Globus store chain, which actively promotes sports initiatives aimed at popularizing a healthy lifestyle.

Despite the cold weather, the participants showed determination and effort. Among them were not only schoolchildren and juniors but also sports enthusiasts of older ages.

Danija Sadykova, a veteran of athletics, emphasized that engaging in sports helps maintain vitality and urged the youth to follow her example. Roman Asankanov, a former firefighter, noted that it is sports that allow him to maintain excellent physical shape and good well-being.

Upon completion of the competition, the Globus store chain awarded the winners and prize-winners with memorable gifts, highlighting the importance of supporting mass sports.

The General Secretary of the Athletics Federation, Melis Nadirov, expressed gratitude to the store chain for its active participation in the development of physical culture.

This event became part of the project #umaygroupchildren, a socially oriented program of the company aimed at supporting education, creativity, and the comprehensive development of children, uniting cultural, educational, sports, and charitable initiatives.
