From December 19 to 22, the international jiu-jitsu tournament ACBJJ World Open Championship GI & NO-GI 2025 took place in St. Petersburg, where Kyrgyz athletes achieved significant success.
According to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, the results of the tournament are as follows:
Sultan Ruslanbekov (blue belt, up to 70 kg) won 1st place in the GI category and 3rd place in the NO-GI section;
Argen Abdymanapov (blue belt, up to 70 kg) received 3rd place in GI and became 1st in the absolute category;
Maxim Bakhaev (blue belt, up to 85 kg) took 1st place in GI;
Bekbol Jolborsov (blue belt, up to 80 kg) won 2nd place in GI;
Aktan Uraan uulu (blue belt, up to 65 kg) became a bronze medalist in GI.
