The award ceremony for the champions and prize winners of the open championship of Kara-Balta in jiu-jitsu took place on December 7 at the "Manas" sports complex.

The competition gathered 270 young athletes aged from 5 to 16 years from clubs in the Chui region. Participants from Bishkek, Kara-Balta, as well as from the villages of Aleksandrovka and Sadovoe showcased their skills. The tournament served as a platform for both experienced fighters and newcomers.

The champions in their weight and age categories were athletes from the "Manas" sports club, including Elmirek Sadyrbekov, Damir Paradin, Ali Akhmedov, Asylbek Khashimzhanov, Amiridin Tolobayev, Alikhan Nurgazov, and Kamilla Moldobekova.
Six athletes secured second places, while 19 participants took third places. In addition to medals and diplomas, there was a club recognition event where outstanding participants were awarded stripes — indicators of skill advancement.

Athletes with four stripes were awarded new belts. Special attention was given to Alikhan Nurgazov, a six-year-old athlete who received his fourth stripe, confirming his achievements, even though he is not yet eligible for a colored belt.

The head coach of the "Manas" sports club, Almaz Mambetov, conducted the award ceremony, congratulating each participant and emphasizing the importance of perseverance, discipline, and self-confidence.
