The athletes were honored for their achievements at the world competitions held in Abu Dhabi from November 21 to 30.
The celebration was attended by the mayor of Uzgen Eldos Taev and the deputy akim of the district Maksatbek Ibraimov. They congratulated the champions and expressed gratitude for their contribution to raising the prestige of the country, presenting them with commemorative gifts and certificates.
Among the champions who brought glory to Kyrgyzstan:
Ahror Rozibaev — kickboxing, 60 kg, world champion, from Uzgen.
Nurbolsun Orozmatov — kickboxing, athlete who raised the flag of Kyrgyzstan.
Ahrorbek Abdukaimov — alysh (belt wrestling), 100 kg, world champion, from Uzgen.
