Among the anticipated events are the third division games of the World Ice Hockey Championship, the Winter Olympic Games in Italy, the Asian Wrestling Championship, as well as the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan and the Asian Games in Japan.
Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov noted a significant increase in the sports budget, which rose from 600 million to 2.5 billion soms. "These funds do not include expenses for the construction of new sports facilities, such as the 'Zhashtyk' arena built this year," he added.
Baisalov emphasized the need to develop infrastructure and create conditions for training future champions, rather than limiting efforts to individual successes.
After Baisalov's speech, athletes with outstanding achievements were awarded monetary certificates from the state. The names of the best athletes of 2025 were then announced.
The best athlete in Olympic sports was boxer Omar Livaza, while the title of Sportswoman of the Year went to Aiperi Medet kyzy.

In the "Breakthrough of the Year" nomination among Olympic sports, awards were given to gymnast Zlata Arkhatova and swimmer Denis Petrashov.

The Coach of the Year was recognized as Azat Mirakhimov, who works in the field of wrestling.

Among the Paralympians, judoka Aibiyke Ulanbek kyzy was named Sportswoman of the Year, while the Sportsman of the Year was Jalalidin Abduvaliev. The Breakthrough of the Year among Paralympians went to Bekbolsun Toktosun uulu and Aigul Mutalipova, and the best coach was recognized as Tolkunbek Isakov.


Among the Deaflympians, the best athlete was Smadiyar Jumakadyrov, while "Breakthrough of the Year" was awarded to Adilet Japar Kulov. Coach of the Year was Farhat Ushurov.
In non-Olympic sports, sambist Bekbolot Toktogonov and Dilbara Imankanova (mas-wrestling) distinguished themselves, while "Breakthrough of the Year" went to kickboxer Akhror Rozbaev and Begimai Orozalieva (WKF karate). Coach of the Year was Azamat Kazakbaev.
In the nominations for national sports, the Sportsman of the Year was Azizkhan Musabek uulu (Kyrgyz wrestling), and the Sportswoman of the Year was Aizhan Anarbekova (Kyrgyz wrestling). The Breakthrough of the Year went to Imanali Sagynali uulu (wrestling) and Begai Beyshenaly kyzy (Kyrgyz wrestling). The best coach was recognized as Azizbek Aitmurzau uulu.
