Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won 9 medals at the Muhamet Malo tournament

In the capital of Albania, Tirana, the second ranking tournament in sports wrestling, Muhamet Malo-2026, took place from February 25 to March 1.

According to the press service of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of Kyrgyzstan, 28 wrestlers from the country participated in the competitions, competing in three styles: freestyle, women's wrestling, and Greco-Roman wrestling.

As a result of the tournament, the athletes won a total of 9 medals.

Freestyle wrestling:

The gold medal in the weight category up to 70 kg was won by Ernazar Akmataliev;

The silver in the category up to 74 kg went to Orozobek Toktomambetov;

The bronze medal was received by Zalkarbek Tabaldiev.

In women's wrestling, all four participants became prizewinners:

The gold in the weight up to 76 kg was won by Aiperi Medet kyzy;

The silver medals in the categories up to 72 kg and up to 68 kg were won by Nurzat Nurtayeva and Meerim Jumaanazarova, respectively;

The bronze medal in the weight up to 65 kg was won by Gulnur Tashtanbekova.

Greco-Roman wrestling:

The bronze medals in their categories up to 72 kg and up to 97 kg were won by Razak Beyshkeyev and Uzur Jusupbekov, respectively.
