The Kazakh attempted to challenge the referee's decision, but his challenge was unsuccessful.
The final score of the match was 12:9 in favor of Akmataliev, who will now compete for the gold medal.
In the same weight category, two other Kyrgyz wrestlers, Zalkarbek Tabaldiev and Rustam Kaharov, faced each other in the 1/8 finals.
