The Yasar Dogu 2026 competition concluded on January 11 in Antalya.
Tabaldiev competed in the 70 kg category, starting his journey from the 1/8 finals of the tournament.
The current champion of Kyrgyzstan triumphed three times over Turkish athletes, which allowed him to reach the final. In the decisive match, his opponent was Islam Dudayev, the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Paris, representing Albania.
The bout ended with a score of 7:4 in favor of Tabaldiev, who became the champion of the tournament.
Also in this weight category, Rustam Kakharo took third place, winning a bronze medal.
