In the decisive match, Shavaev, representing the city of Talas, defeated Muhammad Abdullaev, the leader of the Kyrgyzstan national team in this weight category.
Malik Shavaev, born on June 21, 1996, represents the Spartak sports club from Nalchik.
He is a two-time champion of Russia in the weight category up to 79 kg (2021, 2022) and this year became a finalist in the Russian championship, where he lost to Ibrahim Kadiyev from Dagestan.
As a result of the Kyrgyzstan championship, a team will be formed to participate in international competitions.
In April, the Asian Championship will take place in Bishkek, and in the autumn, Bahrain will host the World Championship. Additionally, this year the Asian Games will be held in Japan.
