World Champion in Freestyle Wrestling from Japan Conducts Master Class in Kyrgyzstan

Esinosuke Aoyagi, the reigning world champion in freestyle wrestling from Japan, conducted a master class in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the federation of this sport.

The event took place on February 11 in Bishkek.

In 2023, the 23-year-old athlete won a bronze medal at the Asian Championship held in Astana. In 2024, he took second place at a tournament in Bishkek and also won silver at the World Championship in Albania.

The 2025 World Championship in Zagreb (Croatia) was significant for Aoyagi, as he won a gold medal in the 70-kilogram weight category. In the round of 16 of this tournament, he defeated Kyrgyz wrestler Ernazar Akmataliev.

Aoyagi also plans to compete in an international tournament in Bishkek, which will take place on February 13.
