















In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, the city championship in judo was officially opened at the Physical Culture and Health Complex, reports the press service of the mayor's office.
The event was officially opened by Joomart Shamkanov, the director of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the mayor's office. In his speech, he expressed hope for the success of the athletes and urged them to focus on training and comprehensive development.
The competitions will take place from December 3 to 4 and will gather more than 200 participants among boys under 18 and 21 years old.
Based on the results of the tournament, a team will be formed to represent Bishkek at the Kyrgyzstan championship in 2026.
