On December 10, the Kyrgyzstan national team participated in the opening ceremony of the Asian Youth Para Games. According to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, during the event, the team marched through the stands in a ceremonial parade, and the captain of the para powerlifting team, Azizbek Narbaev, raised the national flag of the country.
The duration of the Asian Youth Para Games is until December 14.
Twenty athletes from Kyrgyzstan will compete in eight sports: swimming, taekwondo, athletics, table tennis, powerlifting, goalball, arm wrestling, and boccia.
