The competitions in freestyle and women's wrestling took place on October 28-29 as part of the III Asian Youth Games. On the first day of the tournament, the following athletes stood out: Adilet Mukambetov (45 kg) won a silver medal, Nurakhmad Sarybaev (51 kg) — a bronze medal, and among the girls, bronze medals were awarded to Asema Törögeldieva (53 kg) and Akylai Chynybaeva (61 kg). On the second day, the list of medalists was joined by Arnur Nursaidov (48 kg) with a bronze medal, while Asel Toktosun kyzy (49 kg) and Sezim Zholdoshbekova (57 kg) won silver.
Thus, Kyrgyz wrestlers successfully represented their country on the international stage, returning with awards and new impressions.
