At the ranking tournament in freestyle wrestling in Albania, athlete Zalkarbek Tabaldiev from Kyrgyzstan won a bronze medal.

Tabaldiev competed in the weight category up to 70 kilograms, starting his journey from the 1/8 finals.

In his first match, he faced another Kyrgyzstani, Rustam Kaharov, whom Tabaldiev defeated by technical superiority.

In the next round, he also successfully dealt with an athlete from Bulgaria, allowing him to advance to the semifinals, where he unfortunately lost to a wrestler from the USA.

In the battle for the bronze medal, Zalkarbek was supposed to meet a Mexican who had lost consciousness twice during his quarterfinal match against an American.

As a result, the Mexican was unable to compete due to injury, and Tabaldiev received the bronze without having to wrestle for 3rd place.

The final in this weight category will feature Ernazar Akmataliev, who will compete against a wrestler from Iran.
