Higher League: "Abdysh-Ata" lost their second match in a row

The football club "Abdysh-Ata" from Kant, a three-time champion of Kyrgyzstan, has found itself in a difficult situation, having lost its second consecutive game of the current season.

In the second round of the Joghorku League, which took place on March 8, the team from Kant hosted "Bishkek City" at their stadium, which finished second to last last season.

This match was the first of 13 scheduled in the new season to be played on natural grass.

"Bishkek City" won with a minimal score of 1:0 thanks to a precise shot by Islam Mejitov in the 58th minute of the match.

Thus, for "Abdysh-Ata," this defeat marked the second in a row, as in the first round the team lost to "Asiagol," which finished last last season, with a score of 1:2.

The next match for "Abdysh-Ata" will be played on March 14 at home against "Muras United," the vice-champion of 2025.

"Bishkek City," which lost to the reigning champion "Barsy" (1:2) in the first round, thus earned its first 3 points of the new season.

In the third round, the team from Bishkek will visit "Dordoi."
