Previously, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, along with the Center for Public-Private Partnership, organized a competition for the reconstruction and construction of a year-round tennis complex.
As a result of the conducted competition, a potential private partner was identified. However, due to the expiration of the deadline set by law for signing the public-private partnership agreement, this process did not take place, leading to the recognition of the competition as unsuccessful.
The city administration emphasized that a new competition will be announced to further advance the project.
The project involves the creation of a modern indoor tennis complex that will operate year-round. The main goal of its implementation is to develop both mass and professional tennis, as well as to improve access to physical culture and sports activities in Bishkek.
