Absence of Stops and Crossings
Local residents and social media users note that after the completion of the work, stops along the avenue have disappeared.However, the familiar streetlights have been installed along the avenue.
Pedestrian crossings have also been eliminated, such as at the intersection with Azhybek Batyr Street. However, this does not stop the citizens, and they continue to cross the road in inconvenient places. The authorities promise to install two new crossings.
Landscaping Work in Progress
Work on the construction of a sidewalk and bike path on the west side continues on the section from Azhybek Batyr Street to Absamat Masaliev Avenue.
It should be noted that the authorities had previously promised to complete the work by the end of October.
After the expansion, the width of the road increased to 22.5 meters, with an additional 6 meters added on each side.
Recall that residents of multi-story buildings and private houses on Aitmatov Avenue from A. Masaliev Street to Semetey Street also expressed dissatisfaction due to the lack of pedestrian crossings and stops after the previous reconstruction. Unfortunately, the authorities did not take the residents' opinions into account and made the same mistakes when updating the new section.
