On the section of Kurmanjan Datka Street, which runs from Jibek Jolu Avenue to Chuy Avenue, the construction of sidewalks is ongoing. However, the work is being delayed due to the need to relocate engineering communications, which is being carried out by OJSC "Bishkek City Telephone Network," OJSC "Severelektro," and "Bishkek PES."
The mayor expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work and instructed that it be completed within five days. Otherwise, if the deadlines are not met, the municipality will take over the work, and the costs will be reimbursed by the responsible organizations.
Additionally, Junushaliev emphasized the importance of properly equipping the bike path and instructed to consider the possibility of installing U-shaped traffic lights in this area.
The head of the capital also raised the issue of controlling illegal parking, noting that municipal inspection staff are already on site and are drafting reports for violators.
On Mederov Street, the mayor expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work by BGTS, calling for an acceleration of the process and, if necessary, the involvement of additional contracting organizations. He also noted the possibility of applying sanctions for failing to meet deadlines.
"We cannot afford to wait 4-5 years. Use modern technologies and approaches, work quickly, but efficiently and safely," said Aibek Junushaliev.
During the inspection of Eastern Street, a local resident approached the mayor with a request to organize public transport routes and install a stop. The citizen also complained about a municipal employee who does not respond to the number indicated in the official response.
Junushaliev himself called this number, but there was no answer.
As a result of the inspection, the mayor issued a reprimand to the responsible employee and instructed regular checks on the relevance of contact information in documents. He also demanded that disciplinary measures be taken, up to dismissal, in case of repeated violations.
Next, the mayor checked the construction of an underground passage on Ch. Aitmatov Avenue and instructed to expedite the work to soon open traffic in this area.
Additionally, Junushaliev visited the residential building where a flooding incident had previously occurred and checked on the progress of eliminating the consequences of this incident.
In conclusion of his tour, the mayor inspected Fuchik Street, where sidewalk reconstruction work is also underway, and instructed to strengthen control over the quality of the work being performed.
