Students of School No. 6 in the city of Kara-Balta became winners of the regional robotics championship.

In Bishkek, from December 13 to 14, a major regional robotics championship "FIRST Bishkek 2025" took place, as reported by Turmush correspondent.

More than 350 school students from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan participated in the competition, organized with the support of the European Union.

Teams competed in three age groups: 7-10 years, 10-13 years, and 14-17 years, showcasing their skills in "STEAM fields," engineering, programming, and robotics.

Teams from grades 3, 5-6, and 10 of school No. 6 in the city of Kara-Balta also participated in the championship. However, it was the younger students who managed to take first place, surpassing their more experienced rivals. The "KAS" team, which included 5th grader Umar Abdrakhmanov and 6th graders Akbair Kanybekov and Eldar Bolotov, won in their category. The champions were prepared by computer science teacher Abdieva Asel Oruskulovna.

Among the winners are also students from secondary school No. 2 named after Chkalov from Naryn, secondary school No. 1 named after L. Tolstoy from Balakchy, secondary school No. 5 from Bishkek, as well as schools "Maarif" and "Epsilon."
