Young Kyrgyzstanis took first place at the Khayyam Olympiad in Mathematics and Computer Science

From November 5 to 9, the International Olympiad in Mathematics and Computer Science named after Omar Khayyam was held in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), where the team from Kyrgyzstan won first place in the team competition. This was reported by the participants of the competition.

At the KhIMIO 2025 Olympiad, 96 students from eight countries participated. Here are the results:

Young participants from Kyrgyzstan also became winners in the overall team competition and received the Olympiad Cup. The team consisted of 16 students and 7 leaders.

In the junior category for mathematics (grades 7-8):In the senior category for mathematics (grades 9-11):The team was coached by Susarbek Baibaev, Mamat Ishmatov, Bekzhol Zholdubai uulu, Aibar Amanov, Kunduz Elchibek kyzy, and Shumkarbek Abdurayimov.

In the junior category for computer science (grades 7-8):The coaches for this group were Evgeny Kichak, Mederbek Osmonov, and Mirbek Bakirov.

In the senior category for computer science (grades 9-11):The coaches for this group include Kylychbek Uraimov and Shumkarbek Abdurayimov.

Young mathematicians and computer scientists from Kyrgyzstan not only took first place in the team competition but were also awarded the Grand Prix - the Khayyam Cup, as well as a cash prize of $1,000. The winning team included Ariet Akimov, Arlan Sayat, Emirkhan Sydykbaev, and Bekten Abduvaliev.
