
Kamchybek Tashiev, head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, voted in the early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh. After the procedure, he shared with journalists his hopes for a peaceful and stable future for the country, for which he cast his vote.
He expressed confidence that the new composition of parliament will work responsibly, making decisions that contribute to the development of the state.
Tashiev noted: "Elections are taking place across the country in a calm atmosphere, and the safety of citizens is ensured. All necessary conditions have been created for the free expression of voters' will and support for worthy candidates."
Voting began at 8:00 AM Bishkek time, and there are 4 million 294 thousand 243 people registered in the voter lists. In the republic, 2,492 polling stations are open, with an additional 100 operating outside the country.
The voting process will continue until 8:00 PM. Preliminary results will be published immediately after the polling stations close, and final results are expected by December 14.
