During the preparation for the debates for candidates in the Jogorku Kenesh, significant work was carried out; however, several participants refused to participate, as reported by the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Tynchtyk Shainazvrov, at a briefing on November 30.
He noted that the Central Election Commission cannot take any action in this regard, as the responsibility for participation in the debates lies with the candidates themselves.
On November 30, voting is taking place in Kyrgyzstan for the early elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh, with 460 candidates involved. The country is divided into 30 electoral districts, and each district will be represented by three deputies who receive the highest number of votes.
