Members of the CEC decided to accept this statement and canceled her registration.
Earlier, law enforcement officers appealed to the CEC with a request to allow the prosecution of Khalilova for vote buying. The CEC agreed to this request.
At the CEC meeting, an investigator from the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs announced that the candidate's involvement in organizing a vote-buying scheme had been proven. In this regard, her supporter was detained, and a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave was imposed. Two more campaigners were also held accountable. Lists of voters and 7 million 159 thousand soms were seized from the detainees.
- Gulnaz Khalilova previously served as a deputy of the Bishkek City Kenesh in the 28th and 29th convocations from the "Yntymak" faction. She was nominated for deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh from electoral district No. 24 (Sverdlovsk District).
