During the investigation, it was established that the organization of the bribery was managed by the official campaigner Gulnaz Khalilova for district No. 24, F. K., her son F. M., and a representative of the homeowners' committee of the "Vostok-5" microdistrict, H. A.
According to law enforcement agencies, in early November, A. offered F. K. a job as a campaigner with a reward. On November 9, they signed contracts at the candidate's headquarters on Lenin Avenue and received 20,000 soms each. They then compiled a list of 12 voters and began paying 2,000 soms for each vote, the statement noted.
During a search of F. K.'s apartment, the police discovered 80,000 dollars, 116,000 soms, and 29,500 soms received from the headquarters, as well as lists of voters. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 196 "Bribery of Voters" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, a petition has been submitted to the Central Election Commission to hold Gulnaz Khalilova criminally liable.
