Interagency Coordination: The CEC and Government Bodies Strengthen Efforts to Ensure Participation of Special Categories of Voters

On November 12, a meeting was held with the participation of representatives from the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums (CEC) and state bodies. The main topic of discussion was measures to ensure the participation of special categories of citizens in the upcoming early parliamentary elections scheduled for November 30. This was reported by CEC member Akbalyk Jumalieva at a press conference.

During the meeting, the following issues were addressed:

• preparation of voter lists from special categories,

• organization of the voting process for them,

• accessibility of polling stations,

• protection of voting rights for people with disabilities, elderly citizens, patients in hospitals, military personnel, and other groups.
Jumalieva noted that the CEC's activities are aimed at fully ensuring the rights of all citizens, including those with disabilities.

In the Kyrgyz Republic, voting for the early elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh will take place on November 30. There are 460 candidates participating in these elections.

The country is divided into 30 electoral districts, and three deputies will be elected from each district to the parliament, who will receive the highest number of votes.
