Active voting abroad for the elections of the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh has already begun. The first polling stations opened in the Far East of the Russian Federation, where the time is 4, 5, and 6 hours ahead of Bishkek. This was reported by Tynchtyk Shainazarov, the chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums, at a briefing on November 30.

Following this, voting started in East Asian countries such as Japan, South Korea, China, Malaysia, and Mongolia, where the time difference is 2-3 hours.

In countries where the time difference is 1 hour, the voting process is also actively ongoing. In some countries, polling stations will open later — by 3-4 or 5-6 hours, while in North America, the difference can reach 11, 12, and even 14 hours compared to Bishkek, he added.

Today, November 30, early voting for the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh is taking place in Kyrgyzstan.

There are 460 candidates participating in the elections, and the country is divided into 30 electoral districts, from which 3 deputies will be elected to parliament based on the highest number of votes received.
