On December 7, 2025, the UniFrame Short Film Festival 2025 will take place in Kyrgyzstan. This festival, organized by SMM CLUB in collaboration with Ala-Too International University, is an annual short film competition, as reported by the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This event gives young talents the chance to showcase themselves as directors, screenwriters, or actors, as well as to present their vision on the big screen.
The theme of the works is completely free — participants are given the opportunity to shoot on topics that resonate with them. The main criteria for evaluation will be originality, sincerity, and a creative approach.
"Short films will be accepted until December 5. The best of them will be shown at the festival and evaluated by a professional jury consisting of experienced representatives from the film industry and creative community," the agency clarified.
Winners will receive valuable prizes, as well as the opportunity to receive professional feedback and support for further development of their creative abilities.
The festival will not only be a platform for creative self-expression but also a meeting place for people united by a passion for cinema.
