Tan is a fermented milk drink made from cow's or goat's milk with the addition of a starter culture of lactic acid bacteria (Bulgarians, thermophilic streptococci), milk yeast, water, and table salt. The prepared starter culture is added to cow's milk, after which a little pure water is added, along with table salt.

Ingredients

Sour milk from cow's milk or bifido-enriched kefir: 200 ml.
Mineral water: 100 ml. (or plain clean water)
Table salt (stone gray): 1/4 tsp. - to taste

Preparation time: 2 minutes

Simply whisk the ingredients together with a whisk or mixer until the mixture is homogeneous, ensuring there are no lumps.
Then Tan can be stored in the refrigerator without separating into components. Add salt and enjoy!

You can add various aromatic herbs to the drink as desired: mint, thyme, oregano, dill, parsley, or basil.
