Kononova - Ruppel Nadezhda Leonidovna
Jewelry artist. Born on July 17, 1949, in the city of Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk region. In 1968, she graduated from the Nizhny Tagil College of Applied Arts.
Since 1978, she has worked in the jewelry workshop of the Artistic Fund of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Since 1999, she has been a member of the Union of Artists.
The jewelry created by Kononova-Ruppel represents independent works, characterized by appealing forms and original compositional solutions. She pays great attention to the beauty of various metals and their alloys, combining them in the most unexpected ways.
Her works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, the State Museum of the Peoples of the East (Moscow), and in private collections abroad.
