Syrnev Viktor Alexandrovich
Jewelry artist. Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on February 3, 1942, in Sverdlovsk. In 1959, he graduated from the department of artistic metal processing at the Sverdlovsk Art and Craft School.
Since 1976, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
He successfully works in the field of jewelry art, contributing to its development in Kyrgyzstan. He uses motifs from Kyrgyz nature in his jewelry. He applies various materials - metal, stones, enamels. He achieves imagery and artistic completeness in his jewelry pieces. Professionalism, high artistic taste, and creative imagination distinguish his works, which have been exhibited at all-Union and international exhibitions.
His works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev; in the Exhibition Directorate of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR (Moscow) and in galleries abroad.
