- The Ministry of Agriculture intends to connect farms to artificial intelligence tools through a series of pilot initiatives at state farms. This was reported on November 27 by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Asel Kenenbaeva in an interview with Tazabek.

According to Kenenbaeva, solutions in the field of "smart farming" are already being implemented at several state farms, which include the digitization of dairy production and crop farming processes. These pilot projects utilize sensors, digital weighing systems, and tools for monitoring the condition of animals.

She emphasized that these sites will serve as a "sandbox" where new technologies will first be tested and then demonstrated to other farms. After successful trials, the ministry plans to train farmers on how to effectively use these digital solutions.

Additionally, Kenenbaeva announced the creation of a state institution called "AgroSmart," which will support digitization in the agricultural sector. It will consist of teams of developers and system administrators who will ensure the implementation of both public and private IT solutions, as well as monitor their stable operation.

One of the key tasks of this institution is to deliver digital products to end users, as many previous projects did not reach the stage of practical application.
