- The country is actively implementing the "30+20+10" project, which is aimed at the digitalization of the agricultural sector. This was reported on the radio by Asel Kenenbaeva, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

“Previously, we worked in the format of ‘3+2’, which included three areas of crop production and two of livestock. In this case, farmers were supported by agronomists, veterinarians, and specialists from agricultural authorities. To date, the project has been expanded to ‘30+20+10’, where 10 refers to processing,” noted Kenenbaeva.

The project involves the creation of a registry of farmers, which will include their passport details and information about assets such as land, machinery, and equipment. Currently, the system covers more than 400,000 farmers. The ministry is monitoring to determine the number of farmers engaged in crop production and livestock, as well as keeping track of the equipment necessary for harvesting and processing.

“Digital technologies are being implemented for all procedures: phytosanitary control, plant quarantine, certification, as well as import and export processes. All documents have been converted to electronic format, allowing farmers to submit applications and receive certificates online,” the deputy minister reported.

In addition, artificial intelligence and satellite monitoring technologies are actively integrated into the project. The use of drones and satellite imagery helps identify plant diseases, monitor crops, and provide recommendations on the timing of sowing, irrigation, and treatment.
