According to him, the current situation with the harvest is as follows:
- In the Chui Valley, 97–98% of the harvest has been completed;
- The collection of vegetables and fruits is almost finished — also 97–98%;
- The harvesting of sugar beets, which is the last crop of the season, is 85% complete, with about 1,500 hectares remaining unharvested;
- Potatoes have already been harvested by 98%, and the work on their collection is expected to be completed within one to two weeks.
Idrisov added that in 2025, the yield of vegetables and some grains, such as corn, has significantly increased compared to the previous year.
However, the yield of wheat and barley has slightly decreased, which is related to high temperatures in the summer and a lack of water in early spring.
Additionally, he noted that this year a world record for tomato yield was set in the Chui Valley — 120 tons per hectare.
For reference, according to official data, the previous world record in the USA was 98–100 tons per hectare. In Kyrgyzstan, the average yield of tomatoes is 80–90 centners per hectare.
