The Industry of Kyrgyzstan Grew in Almost All Regions: Chui is the Leader, Issyk-Kul Declined Due to Kumtor - Chart

- According to information from the National Statistical Committee, from January to October 2025, all regions of the republic showed growth in industrial production, except for the Issyk-Kul region.

The leader in terms of production volume is the Chui region, where goods worth approximately 267 billion soms were produced, which is 10.8% more than last year. The Chui region accounts for 45% of the total industrial output of the country.

In the capital, Bishkek, the volume of industrial production amounted to over 101 billion soms, representing a growth of 25.2%. The capital contributes 17% of the total production.

The Jalal-Abad region produced goods worth over 46 billion soms, which equates to approximately 8% of the total volume and is 28.7% more than in the same period last year.

The Issyk-Kul region showed a production volume of over 90 billion soms, which is 8.55% less compared to the previous year. This decline is attributed to a decrease in output at the Kumtor enterprises; however, excluding Kumtor, the volume of industrial production in the region increased by 33.3%.

In the Naryn region, the volume of industrial output reached 12 billion soms, which is 166.5% higher than the figures for the same period in 2024.

In the Osh region, the production volume amounted to 18 billion soms, corresponding to a growth of 20.4% compared to the data for January–October of last year.

The Talas region demonstrated an industrial volume of about 41 billion soms, increasing by 47.6% compared to the same period last year.

In the Batken region, approximately 8 billion soms were produced, which is 30.8% more compared to the figures for January–October 2024.
