- In its November monetary policy report, the National Bank of Kazakhstan presented an analysis of the state's participation in international value chains.

According to the central bank's data, there is a high degree of dependence on imports in certain sectors of the manufacturing industry, especially in those that require complex technologies and components.

The greatest dependence on foreign components is observed in industries such as rubber and plastics manufacturing, where the share of imports accounts for about 30% of the total export volume. Significant levels of import dependence are also noted in the production of computers and electronic products (approximately 25%), motor vehicles and semi-trailers (25-30%), as well as in the textile industry (about 20%).
