In January-October, food production increased by 33.6%

- According to data from the National Statistical Committee, from January to October 2025, there has been a 33.6% increase in the production of food products (including beverages) and tobacco products.

This growth is primarily driven by a 1.6-fold increase in the production of non-alcoholic beverages, as well as a 1.5-fold increase in pasta production. A significant increase has also been recorded in the processing and preservation of vegetables and fruits (by 19.5%), flour and cereals (by 8.7%), bakery products and pastries (by 7.2%), and vegetable oils and fats (by 5.7%). Additionally, the production of distilled alcoholic beverages and alcoholic mixtures increased by 29.1%.

In the sector of wooden and paper products, as well as in printing, volumes grew by 29.4%. This was made possible by an increase in printing activity (by 49.3%) and wood processing (by 12.5%).

There is also a noted increase in the production of chemical products by 19.6%, which is primarily related to the increase in the production of paints and varnishes (by 21.2%).
