The analysis of official data from 2014 to 2024 shows that Kyrgyzstan is experiencing stable growth in the industrial production sector, which corresponds to the overall increase in gross domestic product (GDP). This information is presented in the draft Strategy for the Development of the Country's Industry until 2030.

The document was prepared by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

During the specified period, the average GDP growth was 14.7%, while in the industrial sector, this figure was 13.1%.

As of 2024, there are 1,011 registered industrial enterprises in the republic, which accounts for approximately 0.12% of the total number of economic entities.

The average contribution of one industrial entity to the economy is about 578.9 million soms per year, which corresponds to approximately 0.04% of GDP per entity.

Experts point out that the distribution of contributions in the industry is very uneven, as a few large companies occupy a significant share of production.
