Previously, the Bir-Bulak gorge was called Raspberry. It got its name due to the extensive thickets of wild raspberries.
For nature lovers, this picturesque, rocky, green gorge
is breathtaking during the walk up the gorge with the views that open up.
At the first narrowing of the rocks on the right bank, you can see markings of places where climbing competitions take place. The road gradually turns into a trail that crosses the stream multiple times. After a while, a picturesque view of the first waterfall will open up. The waterfall can be easily and calmly bypassed on the left. It is from this point that the most beautiful part of the Raspberry gorge begins. The gorge gradually narrows, and the stream cascades down, forming small waterfalls.
The mesmerizing beauty. In hot weather, you can swim in them. The flora of the gorge is rich in a variety of medicinal plants. Here you can find mint, thyme, oregano, St. John's wort, great burdock, white nettle, jute, yellowing, and others. On the slopes, juniper, rosehip, raspberry, and rowan grow.
Approximately 7-8 km from the main gates, the gorge widens, forming a broad basin covered with juniper trees and alpine meadows.
