As of December 1, 2025, the bank sold 182.6 kilograms of gold bars for a total of 1 billion 854.5 million soms. This is 133.1 kilograms more than in 2024, when 49.5 kilograms of gold were sold.
There is also an increase in the buyback of bars: in the 11 months of the current year, the National Bank repurchased 88.1 kilograms of gold for 842.6 million soms, exceeding last year's figure by 61.2 kilograms (26.9 kilograms were repurchased in 2024).
This year, three silver collectible coins were issued: "Tushoo Kesu," "Founding Fathers of Kyrgyz Statehood," and "80 Years of Great Victory," all with a face value of 10 soms and made of 925 silver.
Among collectors, the most popular were:
- the gold coin "Aykol Manas," with sales of 881 pieces at a price of 123,400 soms each;
- the silver coin "The World of Our Children," sold in a quantity of 2,084 pieces at 3,300 soms each.
There was also high interest in the silver coins "80 Years of Great Victory," "Household Item: Kyrgyz Vase," and "100th Anniversary of the National Liberation Uprising of 1916."
The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasizes that citizens' interest in investment gold and collectible coins continues to grow.
