From January 13 to December 5, seven interventions were carried out, during which foreign currency was sold. Of this amount, $318.9 million was sold with settlement on the transaction day, while the remaining $354.6 million was delivered on later dates.
It is worth noting that in 2024, the National Bank conducted 13 interventions totaling $675.6 million. The regulator emphasizes that such currency interventions are necessary to compensate for sharp fluctuations in the exchange rate.
