The National Bank conducted an intervention by selling $174 million

On November 10, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan conducted the sale of $173.9 million in the foreign exchange market, according to information provided by the financial regulator.

Of the total amount, $63.5 million was sold with settlements on the transaction date, while $108.6 million was sold with settlements on a different date.

This year, the National Bank has already carried out six interventions, all of which were related to the sale of dollars.

Last year, the regulator conducted 13 interventions and sold $675.6 million.

Representatives of the National Bank emphasize the importance of currency interventions to reduce sharp fluctuations in the exchange rate.
