At the veterinary checkpoint "Torugart," located in the Naryn region, a cargo weighing 21,800 kg of beef intended for import into Kyrgyzstan was stopped. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture.

The cargo was coming from Pakistan through Chinese territory.

As noted by the department, border veterinary control inspectors conducted an inspection and identified violations of veterinary and sanitary standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union. In particular, the accompanying documents did not meet the requirements, and the conditions for transporting the cargo also did not comply with established standards.

As a result of the inspection, a return act was drawn up, and the cargo was sent back to the checkpoint "Torugart," as reported by the ministry.
