At the checkpoint "Torugart," located in the Naryn region, a batch of beef weighing 21,800 kilograms, which arrived from Pakistan via China, was stopped. This information was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the inspection conducted by border veterinary control inspectors, violations of veterinary and sanitary standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union were discovered. The accompanying veterinary documents did not meet the requirements, which led to the refusal to allow the cargo to pass.
As a result of the inspection, return acts were drawn up, and the batch of meat was sent back through the "Torugart" checkpoint.
