At the "Torugart" checkpoint in the Naryn region, a batch of beef weighing 21,800 kilograms was detained while being transported from Pakistan through Chinese territory. This was reported by the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.

Inspectors conducting border veterinary control examined the cargo. During the inspection, it was found that veterinary and sanitary requirements established by the Eurasian Economic Union were not met. In particular, the accompanying documents for the meat were inadequate, and transportation norms were violated.

As a result of the inspection, acts were drawn up for the return of the cargo. Thus, the meat products were sent back through the "Torugart" checkpoint.
