On March 25, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, approved changes regarding the rules for alternative service and mobilization gatherings in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the press service of the government, the updated resolution is aimed at complying with the norms of Articles 21 and 32 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Universal Military Duty of Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, on Military and Alternative Services."

The updated document clarifies how the mobilization reserve gatherings will be conducted, which includes activities for training citizens in military accounting specialties for use in both peacetime and wartime.

According to the new rules, payments must be made in stages — at least one-sixth of the total amount quarterly. The term of alternative service will be calculated from the moment of conscription.
