According to the press service of the government, the updated resolution is aimed at complying with the norms of Articles 21 and 32 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Universal Military Duty of Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, on Military and Alternative Services."
The updated document clarifies how the mobilization reserve gatherings will be conducted, which includes activities for training citizens in military accounting specialties for use in both peacetime and wartime.
The main changes include:
- Citizens aged 22 to 40 who have not served in the military or have completed alternative service will be required to undergo 30-day gatherings with a fee of 50,000 soms;
- Reservists with higher education and under 30 years old, who are in the first category reserve, must undergo 30-day gatherings with a fee of 70,000 soms;
- Registration of citizens begins only after the established fee is paid.
- Citizens called up for family circumstances must pay 18,000 soms, while those recognized as partially fit for health reasons must pay 25,000 soms;
- Individuals who do not wish to serve for religious reasons or who wish to perform socially useful work must complete the established volume of this work and pay 25,000 soms.
