
A master class dedicated to sewing and embroidering a kishet, belt, and strap is planned in Bishkek.
According to the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic, the event will take place on November 15 at the G. Aitiev KNMA and will be led by Turar Turganaly, a member of the Union of Artists of the KR and a master who passes on traditional skills to the younger generation.
Participants should bring a piece of fabric measuring 40x40 cm (scraps can be used), while other materials and tools will be provided by the organizers.
“Come and discover the secrets of creating a kishet, belt, and strap, enhancing your skills in a creative atmosphere with an experienced mentor!” - noted the ministry.
The event starts at 11:00.
The participation fee is 300 soms, and tickets can be purchased at the museum's box office.
The number of places is limited — only 10 participants.
