On October 25, 2025, the traditional kimchi festival will take place in Bishkek, as reported by the city administration. The event, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Kyrgyz Republic, will be held on the alley in front of the Kurmanjan Datka monument. The festival will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the official part scheduled for 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
“Visitors will be able to enjoy Korean street food, try on national costumes, and learn more about the culture and traditions of Korea,” noted representatives of the city administration.
