This incident occurred on November 26, when local residents captured on video how clouds of ash rose into the air.
According to the data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Chui region, the fire has been successfully extinguished.
On the morning of November 27, at the direction of the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Boobek Azhikeev, the first deputy minister Azamat Mambekov held a meeting with the heads of the Ministry's divisions and firefighters to discuss this incident.
During the meeting, training was organized on actions in similar emergency situations. Participants were informed about the operational procedures of the headquarters in the context of technological emergencies, interaction with civil defense services, as well as the deployment of firefighting equipment and the distribution of tasks for firefighting teams.
As previously reported, on November 26, a fire occurred in the forest area near the village of Aral. The following participated in extinguishing it:
- 186 personnel;
- 11 fire engines;
- 2 water trucks;
- 1 fire pump unit;
- 2 drones;
- 2 mobile pumping stations;
- 2 units of equipment;
- 5 motor pumps.
